Bubble blowing competition I have a bubble making machine for special effect producing bubbles in theound.
Each boy is given a bubble making device and detergent glycerine mixture.
Who can blow the biggest bubble? The boys decide (with a little help from their teacher or supervisor)
Buying simple bubble mixture at the shop can be fairly expensive considering the actual ingredients that go into it. This simple formula is guaranteed to put a smile on your kids faces. What you need: Half a cup of dish washing liquid 2 cups of warm water 1 tablespoon of sugar 2 tablespoons of Dads secret ingredient…. Baby Oil! Gently stir the mixture whilst trying to minimise and bubbles forming in the solution then let it stand for about 10 to 20 minutes. http://www.aaronwhittaker.com/housedad/make-your-own-bubble-mixture/ Foot game How many walnuts can you move from one bowl to another in a minute? Two boys remove their shoes. The winner is the person who moves all his walnuts from the plate to the bowl using his feet only in the quickest time or one minute.
Pass the Arkenstone
Wrap up an object( eg kinder surprise) in 10 layers of paper or half the number of boys in your class (any more and the boys get bored waiting for their turn) The other half of the boys can either watch or do some other activity. Hot potato speeds it up for older boys. Put choc coins in between wrappers and ultimate prize the Arkenstone (kinder surprise)
Mountain of caps Like Jenga start off with 3 on the bottom. Boys add their hats one at a time. When it eventually falls down the person whose hat it was that caused it has to do a forfeit (eg hopping on one leg for 1 minute)
